U-505 is particularly notable as it was captured by the US Navy in 1944, becoming the first enemy warship captured at sea since the War of 1812. This model kit allows you to recreate this historically significant submarine with an exceptional level of detail. This 1/72 scale Platinum Edition kit offers a premium modeling experience with its enhanced materials and intricate details. The photo-etched parts and metal components elevate the realism of the model, making it a truly impressive display piece.
